Terms & Conditions

1. The general conditions set out in this section apply to all orders received through the various KATEUROPE websites and are deemed accepted by the buyer at the time of placing the order and completing payment.

2. All product information published on our websites has been prepared based on information provided by the respective manufacturers of the products. The photographs displayed may not necessarily match the product received. Information such as dimensions, weight, accessories, and other data is provided for informational purposes only, as it may vary depending on the product manufacturer.

3. The buyer must be of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

4. Products marketed by KATEUROPE, in accordance with EEC Regulation 1400/2002, are considered replacement parts of equivalent quality to original components.

5. All orders will be shipped at the expense of KATEUROPE via the transport agency deemed most appropriate at the time of service. The delivery address shall be the one indicated in the purchase order (deliveries to PO boxes will not be made).

6. Product prices are expressed in Euros. Value Added Tax (VAT) is included in these prices, but shipping costs are not included and shall be borne by the customer and paid additionally. Prices shall be those indicated at any given time on the KATEUROPE websites, both for products and transportation services, and shall be deemed valid at the time of order confirmation.

Delivery times are estimates. The indicated deadlines apply to orders received before 12:00 h Monday thru Friday. For orders of more than 5 units, lead times must be requested.

KATEUROPE reserves the right to modify prices at any time. In the event of a pricing error, KATEUROPE reserves the right to cancel and not fulfil the order, refunding the full amount paid.

7. Payments shall be made upfront using the payment methods available on the website. Once payment has been received, the order will be shipped.

8. Right of withdrawal and returns

The customer has a period of 45 days from receipt of the product to request a return. If the customer qualifies as a consumer under applicable law, this period includes the legal withdrawal period for distance contracts.

The right of withdrawal may be exercised through an unequivocal statement sent to Kat Europe via the form available on the website: https://kateurope.com/sales/guest/form or by email at [email protected]. Kat Europe will confirm receipt of such communication with an acknowledgement on a durable medium.

Kat Europe processes orders immediately for dispatch. For this reason, once an order has been prepared or shipped, cancellation may not be possible. In such cases, any request will be handled under the legal withdrawal regime.

Except in cases of product defects covered by warranty or logistical errors attributable to Kat Europe, return shipping costs shall be borne by the customer. When Kat Europe manages the product collection, these costs amount to €19.00 and may be deducted from the refund.

The customer is responsible for verifying product compatibility with their vehicle before placing the order. Costs arising from incompatibility, incorrect delivery data, or issues attributable to the customer may be charged to them.

Once the product has been received and the applicable return conditions verified, Kat Europe will issue the corresponding refund using the same payment method used for the purchase.

9. Warranties

The warranty period shall be the same as that granted by the manufacturer of each product sold by KATEUROPE. Generally, this is two years. The warranty period for each product will be indicated on the invoice and is required for processing any claim.

The warranty covers any manufacturing defect.

A product will not be accepted under warranty if:

  • The warranty period has expired
  • Vehicle-related issues caused premature product deterioration
  • The product was installed in a vehicle not listed in our catalogue
  • Any type of modification has been made to the product
  • Damage caused by impacts after installation

To process a warranty claim, you must complete the form available at the attached link (warranty form) and send it to [email protected] together with the purchase invoice so that KATEUROPE can arrange collection within 3 days of receiving the request.

Within ten days of receiving the material at KATEUROPE’s facilities, the warranty assessment will be carried out and you will be informed of the decision. If the warranty is approved, the refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase within 15 days of the decision being communicated.

To minimise time and return costs, you may also send photographs with the warranty form showing the full product and clearly detailing the defect. If the photographs are sufficient to assess the claim, return of the product will not be required. Once the form and photos are received, a decision will be communicated within ten days and, if approved, the refund will be issued within 15 days using the original payment method.
